Rose Cardamom Vanilla Bean Latte


-2 shots (about 1/4 cup) espresso or strong brewed coffee

-4-5 whole cardamom pods, crushed to open the pod a bit

-1/2 to 1 teaspoon powdered rose petals

-1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha (optionall)

-1/4 teaspoon ground vanilla bean

-1 cup milk of your choice (I prefer raw, whole milk)


In a small saucepan, heat milk and crushed cardamom pods over medium heat until the milk just reaches a simmer, remove from heat and cover with a plate to keep warm and allow the cardamom to steep for a couple minutes.

In the meantime, place powdered rose petals, ashwagandha, ground vanilla bean, and coffee in a large mug. Whisk to combine- a handheld milk frother is great for this purpose.

Lastly, place a fine mesh sieve over the mug of coffee and pour in the milk steeped with cardamom. Discard the cardamom pods, and enjoy!
